This section in the review collects data on your operations in China.  The metrics are in the areas of Procurement-IPO, Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Distribution and Financial.
This section in the review focuses on your use of truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) common carriers.
This section examines your distribution network, operations within distribution centers, material handling systems, warehouse management systems, labor productivity and overall distribution performance metrics.
This section covers the process you follow for managing imports into North America. For retailers and distributors, the questions should be viewed in the context of imported products. For manufacturers, the questions should be viewed in terms of raw materials and components. For purposes of this section the terms "vendor" and "supplier" should be considered as interchangeable.
This section examines your approach to supply chain network design. Network design determines the optimal location, number and type of vendors, transportation methods, inventory polices, distribution centers, and pool operations to meet a forecasted demand based on a set of business rules that includes, at a minimum, customer/store service levels. A portion of the network can be considered fixed to allow incremental network improvements. Typically, network design is based on planning horizons longer than one year with most resources not fixed or predetermined. A separate section in this review examines operational planning (e.g. 12 to 18 month horizon) for supply, distribution, inventory and transportation.
This section examines the processes, tools and techniques you use to manufacture raw materials, components and finished goods for your customers.
This section focuses on the supply chainís ultimate objective. It is a re-grouping of all the Customer Service and Sales-related questions that pertain to the supply chain and are contained in other topics throughout the survey.

Please note: all questions in this section are linked, so answers filled in here will update responses to the same question found in other parts of the survey.

Environmental initiatives have been a consideration for progressive companies for quite some time. However, steadily increasing costs of natural resources has placed a new-found premium on companies' ability to utilize sustainable resources wherever possible, conserve resources when not, and to maximize the utilization of assets already owned. Green has gone mainstream.
