Chris Rose, author of The New York Times Bestseller 1 Dead in Attic, a compilation of his newspaper columns on the after-effects of Hurricane Katrina, is a columnist for The Times-Picayune of New Orleans. He has been called the bard of the Crescent City and is uniquely qualified to share essential insight about New Orleans today. He is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Distinguished Commentary and co-winner of the Pulitzer for Public Service. Rose is also an essayist for The Newshour with Jim Lehrer and frequent commentator on National Public Radio's Morning Edition.
